Writing, Citing & Presenting

The Writing Center is here to help you at any stage of your thesis writing. We strongly encourage you to begin visiting the Writing Center early; we can help you most effectively if you meet with us early or midway through your writing.

Here are just some of the things that we can help you with:

  • Talking through your ideas;
  • Integrating your research and writing processes;
  • Refining your writing process and identifying your strengths;
  • Developing your argument and structure;
  • Receiving feedback on drafts;
  • Developing revision skills;
  • Structuring your time; and
  • Discovering new strategies for writing.

The following Thesis Template for Microsoft Word is intended to support students in properly organizing and formatting their senior thesis work, including pagination. As some majors may have their own formatting guidelines, please check with your mentor/supervisor before you use this template.
