GU-Q: How to Cite

Use this guide to find out how you can easily collect and manage citation information

Citing AI Prompts

Now, most of the AI tools provide a stable URL for each chat/conversation. Taking into account this development, most major citation styles have updated their instructions on how to cite AI. Citing prompts is now more consistent.

In Zotero, we recommend that you save your A.I. conversation as 'Item Type' > 'Webpage'. You will need to manually alter some elements, according to style, for the best results in exporting your citations.
