There's a lot that can be done in the Qatar National Library building that goes beyond services offered at GU-Q. There are spaces, equipment, and expertise available in many areas of technology, digitization, and more.
The Innovation Stations are dedicated spaces within the Library that foster creativity, inspiration, collaboration and engagement. They provide tools for innovators, artists, musicians, creators and learners to express themselves.

The Digitization Center provides custom digitization projects for government institutions, private citizens, museums and international cultural institutions. The Center has a variety of scanners and software packages that enable the digitization of books, manuscripts, magazines, newspapers, maps, artifacts (using 3D photography), photographs (slides, negatives and glass plates) and audiovisual collections.

The Library provides a variety of copy, print and scan self-services for its users (members and visitors) through printers throughout the Library. To use the copy and print service, users must purchase a Library printing card. The scanning service is free.
The Library printing card can be purchased at the User Services Desk for QR 5, QR 10 or QR 25, payable in cash only. These cards are non-reusable and non-refundable.
