Georgetown University in Qatar currently offers courses in Arabic and French. Members of the GU-Q community that wish to improve their skills in these languages have access to language support through the Qatar National Library. And Mango Languages also offers support for many more languages other than Arabic and French.

Mango Languages

Mango Languages is an online language learning resource with an interactive database that provides step-by-step lesson plans for 71 different languages. This database features ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons for Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese speakers.

I Read Arabic (in Arabic language)

‘I Read Arabic’ is a leading digital leveled reading program that aims to advance the quality of Arabic language fluency and literacy. It offers 16 simplified levels based on the Arabi 21 rubrics for leveling children’s books, to suit the needs of both native and non-native Arabic language students from KG to Grade 6. The platform includes a library of hundreds of Arabic digital books as well as games, videos, worksheets and benchmark assessments. It also provides teachers with teaching and reporting tools as well as content to enrich the Arabic classroom.
