Professors sometimes ask the library to place copies of books and DVDs on Course Reserve to ensure all students in a class are able to access important course materials. The items are removed from the main collection and placed behind the Library Service Desk. These books and DVDs can be issued to you for up to 4 hours but only for use within the library.
Professors also ask the library to place electronic copies of journal articles and book chapters on reserve. You will find links to these materials in your Canvas courses or in the syllabus.
