You can make an appointment with one of our tutors through WC Online. Appointments can be for 30 minutes or 1 hour.

If you have not used WC Online before, please register first by using your Georgetown email address. Once you have logged into the system, look for the tutors on the schedule that have "writing" next to their name. 

To make the most of your tutoring time:

• Schedule your appointment at least 3 days before your due date. This will ensure that you have time to make revisions.
• Before your appointment, think about what you would like to focus on or accomplish during your session.
• Bring your materials with you: the assignment requirements, your work and anything else that might be useful.

Here are some things to expect during your tutoring session:

• We will ask you to set the agenda for your session. Don't;t worry, if you are not sure where to start, we can help with that too!
• Be prepared to participate actively: to think, write, and talk about your work.
• We will treat you with respect, respond to your concerns, and respect your confidentiality.
• We may suggest new strategies to help you develop as a thinker and writer, for both your current and future academic work.
