On the library homepage, you can search for all the materials available in the GU-Q library. Use the filters on the left to limit your searches according to "Date", "Content Type" or to find articles from "Peer-Reviewed Journals".
Click on "Advanced Search" on the library homepage. Combine your keywords with AND | OR | NOT to expand or limit your searches accordingly. Some suggested searches for this course include:
"Comparative Politics" OR "Comparative government" (very broad search but includes all possible results)
Democracy AND Nationalism (narrow search)
Revolution NOT "Arab Spring" (search results will not include the topic you are not interested in)
An effective way to focus your search results is to use the subject field search. Click on the "Advanced Search" link on the library homepage and select the "Subject" option from the Any Field drop-down menu.
Example search: Subject - "Comparative Politics" AND Subject - Authoritarianism.
