Brockelmann Online consists of both original volumes Geschichte der arabischen Litteratur (GAL) by Carl Brockelmann (1868-1956), as well as the three supplement volumes, including the indexes. It is full-text searchable. GAL offers bio-bibliographic information about works written in Arabic and their authors, with an emphasis on the classical period. The multi-volume reference work is divided in chronologically organized sections, which are subdivided by literary genre. Individual entries typically consist of a biographical section and a list of the author's works in manuscript and print, with references to secondary literature. See the Transliteration table for Brill Online to see how Arabic, etc. words are romanized. It is best to use Brockelmann Online in conjunction with the print edition.

The Qatar Digital Library (QDL) is a vast archive featuring the cultural and historical heritage of the Gulf and its wider regions. It includes archives, maps, manuscripts, sound recordings, photographs and much more, complete with contextualized explanatory notes and links, in both English and Arabic. The QDL results from a partnership between the British Library and the Qatar National Library to digitize a wide range of content from the British Library's collections relating to the history of Qatar and the Gulf region, Arabic culture, and the Islamic world.
The "Qatar Essence of the Past" portal displays an album of aerial photographs of some important cities in the State of Qatar (Doha, Al Khor, Al Shamal, Al Wakra, and Al Rayyan) in a historical hierarchy from the oldest to the most recent, as well as photographs accompanied by a brief explanation of some of the landmarks and monuments in these cities.
The Qatar Geoportal displays aerial photographs, satellite images, and vector maps for streets along with street names and landmark symbols in the country. The portal provides a search feature to locate addresses through the data of the “Inwani – My Address” service (building number, street number, zone number). Locations can be searched by entering the full or part of the landmark name, geographic name, and Land Parcels.
