Statistical data at the national, provincial (31), county (over 2000), and city (over 700) level. The Website contains annual macroeconomic, industry, and socioeconomic data, with some monthly data. A few market research reports and trade data (in Chinese). Authorized by the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics. Georgetown only has access to the information under China Statistics and Statistical Yearbook (i.e. nothing under Census Data, Census Map & Report, Survey Data, etc.).

Increases the ability to easily find, download, and use datasets that are generated and held by the Federal Government. Provides descriptions of the Federal datasets (metadata), information about how to access the datasets, and tools that leverage government datasets.
The data catalogs will continue to grow as datasets are added. Federal, Executive Branch data are included in the first version of Data.gov.

Think about the following:

What kind of content type do I need? A scholarly or newspaper article? A primary source like a speech or a peer-reviewed source like a scholarly article?
Where does the source come from? On what type of website is it available from?
Who is the creator of the source? Can I find its author? Who is publishing this source?
